The STEELMAN 42439 6-Piece Oil Drain Plug Wrench and Adapter Kit is a unique, T-handled driver and adapter tip set that is specially designed to fit snugly into various types of plastic oil pan drain plugs and remove them without damage to plug or pan. The T-handle is made from durable chrome finished steel with a textured plastic handle to provide maximum rotational torque on drain plugs. The tip ends in a 3/8-inch drive connection fitting with a spring loaded detent ball that can either be used to directly access some vehicle model's drain plugs or can be attached to one of the 5 included adapters to work on a wider range of vehicles. The black oxide coated, Cr-V steel adapters fit snugly onto the t-handle or any hand operated 3/8-inch ratchet or extension and feature head shapes intended to securely fit specialized vehicle drain plugs without causing damage. An outer 17mm hex design on each adapter allows use with conventional adjustable or combination wrenches. Kit contains adapters to fit plastic oil drain plugs used by Ford, Peugeot, Citroen, Lincoln, Mercedes, BMW, DAF, Man, Volkswagen (VW), Audi, Skoda, Seat, and Porsche vehicles.
