This handy hanger is ideal for changing wheels on a range of vehicles as it adds extra length to often short lug bolts making it easier to line up and mount wheels. Additionally it helps prevent painful back strain caused from trying to hold a heavy wheel and tire in place while fumbling to get a lug nut started to take away the load. The female ended design acts a short shroud that covers more of the lug bolt to protect the threads and prevent them being damaged while maneuvering the wheel and tightening lug nuts. The 13.5mm (17/32-inch) hex end provides an easy way to install and remove the hanger either by hand or using a compatible socket or combination / adjustable wrench. Machined from stainless steel, this tool is threaded to fit onto vehicles that use 1/2-inch x 20 size lug nuts and the tool has a maximum outer diameter of 14.75mm (37/64 or 0.58-inch).
